Mission Statement
Our mission is to reach the lost and disciple the saved by passionately making known the love of Christ through Word and deed.
What to expect in worship
At our worship services, you will find individuals dressed in a variety of ways, from suits and dresses to shorts and sandals and everything in between. It’s not how you’re dressed that matters; we’re just happy to have you with us so that we might receive God’s gifts together!
Holy Communion is typically celebrated on the second and last Sundays of the month and festival days. All LCMS members are welcome to partake in Holy Communion. All other worshipers are asked to speak with one of our pastors prior to receiving communion.
You will hear biblically based preaching and teaching that holds true to God’s Holy Word and to the beliefs of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
We LOVE children at St. Paul’s! As a way to welcome children into worship, we have regularly scheduled children’s messages that typically occur on non-Communion Sundays. We also offer “busy bags” for young children during worship. An unstaffed nursery room is available to parents to use during worship services and education time on Sunday mornings. A TV with the livestream of the service is available in that space.
8:15 a.m. traditional service follows a divine service setting from the Lutheran Service Book (LSB). The order of worship is displayed on a screen at the front and back of the church. Hymnals are also available for following along. Hymns are accompanied by organ music and the pastors wear traditional vestments and preach from the pulpit. The Scripture readings and message are the same at both services.
10:30 a.m. blended service uses the same Scripture readings, creeds and message as the traditional service but the songs are different, accompanied by piano and led by a team of music leaders.
9:15-9:30 a.m. is a time between worship services for fellowship, coffee and delicious baked goods. Enjoy catching up with people! This takes place in the lower fellowship hall.
New Member Class
This class is designed to cover the basics of the Christian faith according to our Lutheran tradition and understanding. It meets for eight weeks, typically during the Education Time on Sunday mornings. The last session shares what life is like at St. Paul’s, focusing on our various opportunities to worship, study, fellowship and serve together. Please contact the church office if you’re interested.
