The Christ-centered mission of St. Paul Lutheran School

is to assist parents in training disciples for here and eternity.

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"

PHILOSOPHY

As a family, church, and school, we unite to train a child as he fulfills the directive of the Master Teacher (as stated in Mark 12:30-31)

"Love the Lord you God with all your heart..."

WE BELIEVE that a child should be provided with opportunities to worship God and encouraged to develop a personal relationship with the true God through study and prayer.

"with all your soul..."

WE BELIEVE that a child is prepared for life in this world when he knows God's plan of salvation and sees himself as part of that plan.

"with all your mind..."

WE BELIEVE that the Christian School, where every subject and aspect of daily life is taught from the Christian point-of-view, can be more successful in leading children to saving faith in Christ than any other avenue except the Christian home.

"with all your strength..."

WE BELIEVE that the Christian Education should help the child understand and feel the joy that comes from work well - done, and that he may learn to be conscientious, hardworking, and honest in everything he does to the glory of God and welfare of his neighbor.

"and love your neighbor as yourself..."

WE BELIEVE that each child is uniquely created by God and should be taught to celebrate the uniqueness of self and others while working together to further God's kingdom on earth.
