Sharing the JOY of Jesus
"The Lord is my strenth and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for JOY and I will give thanks to Him in song." Psalm 28:7
The Christ-centered mission of St. Paul's Lutheran School is to assist parents in training disciples for here and eternity. Our school is supported by St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. We serve children from pre-school through 8th grade, and our school is NLSA accredited.
St. Paul's Lutheran School is committed to providing an environment of Christian learning. We support parents in the development of a child's growth in all areas of education - spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, emotional and aesthetical. Throughout each school day, the Christian faith is integrated across the curriculum. Christ's love motivates us to develop an atmosphere in which each member of the community may experience his individuality, contribute to the community, and recognize, value and respect the needs of others.
National Lutheran School Accreditation is a voluntary evaluation and improvement process based on national standards designed to evaluate and improve the curriculum, administration and religious dimensions of the school.
Accreditation was awarded by the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation Commission to St. Paul's Lutheran School in August of 2004 and renewed in 2011. Some of the strengths cited by the accreditation team were:
- A positive school climate is reflected by students and teachers and is enhanced by the care of the facility.
- A variety of teaching methods and learning experiences are being used to meet the individual needs of the students.
- Dedicated teachers willingly give of themselves and help each other for the benefit of the students.
