St. Paul's supports missionaries Shauen & Krista Trump as they share the Good News with the people in East Africa. The Trumps have a great web site! Go to www.thetrumps.org to find their monthly blog, information about East Africa and mission trips, how to contact them, and what they need from us to help their mission! Spend some time getting to know them, and what they are doing in Tanzania and Kenya.
Sarah Kanoy is serving in East Africa as a Career Missionary by working as a community health nurse and educator. She is living in Nairobi, Kenya and travels throughout several East African countries. While interacting with the East African people, she shares the Good News of Jesus Christ and helps to connect people to their local Lutheran church. Sarah also works with and supports the Mercy Medical Teams that serve in East Africa. Visit saltandlightinafrica.wix.com/home to read her monthly blog, and learn how to best support her through your prayers and financial support! Give online: www.lcms.org/kanoy
St. Paul's has supported the Adopt-A-Seminary Student program for a number of years. The Adopt-A-Student sponsors give $500 or more annually which may be given as a one-time gift or throughout the year through several gifts. Adopt-A-Student gifts are used to prepare future pastors and missionaries. Standing together, students and sponsors overcome the single greatest obstacle to students coming to the Seminary — affording it! By helping students overcome this challenge we have been making an eternal difference as the students prepare to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ today and for decades to come.
Our current seminary student is Quincy Koll, pictured here with his wife Courtney. Qunicy attends Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.
