Evening Friends In Faith
Evening Friends in Faith (EFIF) is a women’s organization of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. It is a society within the Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League (LWML). LWML is an auxiliary of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. http://www.lwml.org/
Membership is open to any woman of St. Paul’s congregation, and we meet on the third Thursday of each month (except July, August and December), at 7:00 P.M. in the fellowship hall. For more information please contact Barbarakay Royuk at 402-478-4797.
The purpose of St. Paul’s Evening Friends in Faith is to develop and maintain a greater awareness among the women of St. Paul’s. As well to provide opportunities for the spiritual growth and Christian fellowship, gather funds for mission’s grants /projects, to assist St. Paul’s in its ministry to build the Kingdom of God by following Christ’s example of being a servant leader and to foster and support the program of the LWML.
Study God’s Word and enjoy fellowship with fellow “Sisters in Christ”
Support LWML mission projects through mite offerings
Develop and nurture mentoring relationships with “Secret Sisters” of St. Paul’s Women’s League
Prepare and serve Lenten meals, teacher meals, clean-up day lunch and fellowship coffees
Host guest day luncheon
Plan and participate in Women’s Retreat
Visit with congressional members while delivering church service DVDs
Provide items for special ingathering
Join in Servant Event opportunities as they are available
